Job Description
Summary:
To efficiently deliver learning interventions in the financial sector in line with priorities and plans set out by the relevant Learning Academy Leads and demand plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct Training for a major financial client of GP Strategies. Courses include sales training and negotiation skills for Commercial
Banking
• Deliver advanced learning interventions to the required standards for Hong Kong and some Asia Pacific countries if needed
• Working with relevant clients to support appropriate mix of training delivery through classroom, virtual learning and e-learning.
• From time to time, work with clients to provide subject matter expertise advisory on course contents.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions to meet business requirements
• Act as a master trainer and mentor junior trainers in Hong Kong to the required standard
Essential Requirements
• Strong business and financial knowledge
• Demonstrated extensive experience as a learning expert with a solid track-record relating to learning delivery
• Experience in delivering and co-delivering learning solutions in a financial environment.
• Exposure to supporting organisational change agenda with L&D solutions
• Experience in working with culturally and geographically dispersed businesses.
• Exposure to the challenges of implementing a regulatory agenda within a business
• Experience of working in/with first-rate consultancies that set stretch goals
• Good program management skills with experience in mobilising resources to delivery against agreed timelines, budgets, and milestones
• Experience in managing training schedules
• Exposure to working in a financial services organisation, gaining an understanding of the market and particular challenges facing the industry
• Strong Inter-personal skills as well as influencing and negotiating skills with excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-starter, resilient and tenacious with focus on execution and delivery. Ability to thrive within a changing, complex environment
• Occasional travel.
• Proficiency and ability to delivery training in both English and Cantonese
