Hong Kong office is in charge of sourcing, buying, project development, communications and manufacturing services operations including quality control, in support of France company.We carry wide range of products to be sourced from stationeries, household items, bags and pouches (NOT hang bag but shopping bag, premium bag, promotional bag), textile items such as T-shirt, blanket, safety vest, ...

Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Working with colleagues and French sales team for their inquiries and orders  
• Sourcing, price negotiation, vendors’evaluation, sample follow up, QC and delivery arrangement  
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with a variety of China based manufacturers  
• Placing and following up orders  
• Review production quality on a regular basis  
• Attend fairs in HK and China
• Demonstrating flexibility and professionalism in an environment where change and rush are constant

Profile:

• University graduate
• Min. 8 years solid merchandising experience, knowledge in the scope of products mentioned above.  Preferably sound knowledge in cotton and promotional bag   
• European company experience and study abroad are a plus.
• Excellent negotiation skills and problem solving techniques.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multi-projects at the same time, meeting deadlines while maintaining professional interpersonal skill and team spirit.
• Detail-oriented person who is responsible, organized and able to handle multi-tasks independently.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, able to communicate effectively in Mandarin
• is a must.
• Hands on computer knowledge in MS Word, Excel,  PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Travel is necessary.  
• Immediate available is essential.  
• Must be a self-motivator with a strong work ethic.
