Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with Reception desk to provide general administrative and clerical support to the office
  • Distribute/file all incoming mail.
  • Filing, typing, scanning, copying, printing, organizing files, etc.
  • Responsible for outgoing mails  - mass mailing
  • Maintain office tidiness and storage systems.
  • Front desk appearance duties and occasional answering, screening, routing of all phone calls
  • Perform errands that assist daily functions: purchase coffee and snacks, go to post office, bank, city courier for all departments, banking deposits, T/T and cash withdrawals for Accounts department.
  • Assist to bind mass volume of booklets, invitations, prepare badges etc…
  • Assist at company events, including setting up, breaking down and other tasks as needed
  • Handle office boxes to be stored in warehouse, occasional heavy lifting of office furniture and booklets, binders, magazines etc…
  • Handy work such as changing light tubes, fixing miner office equipment and machineries
  • Recycling paper – move and empty full bags to back lift
  • Light cleaning (for example, clean out refrigerator every week, tidy pantry after lunch etc…)
  • Perform other tasks as identified by the Office Manager

Requirements:

  • Entry level position, Form 5 or above
  • Fluent in English
  • Positive, optimistic, can-do attitude
  • Friendly, pleasant, kind, helpful personality
  • Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Honesty, trustworthiness, dependability
  • Dedication and focus, strong work ethic
  • Ability to work with or without direction
  • Computer proficiency (typing, emailing, web browsing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel,
  • Multi-tasking skills, organizational, time/decision management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks from start to finish
  • Focus on not only keeping up, but moving forward.
  • Immediately available.
