We are currently looking for a part-time Legal Counsel to join us.  Working closely with the management team, you will be responsible for all general legal matters relating to both Pacsafe and Dropsafe brands, with market coverage in Hong Kong, China, Europe, Australia, the Philippines and US.  Below highlights your main duties:-

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Legal Department
• Manage external and internal stakeholders, lawyers and agents
• Draft and negotiate general commercial contracts
• Manage and advise on contentious matters relating to intellectual property and outstanding debt
• Assess and advise on enforcement or protection of trademarks and patents
• Manage legal budget
• Update and manage contract management system, intellectual property system, and filing system
• Stay up-to-date with relevant legal changes
• Draft minutes and resolutions for the group companies where necessary
• Enforce code of conduct and policies and procedures

To be successful in the role, you will be/have:-

• LLB in Law in Hong Kong or any other common law jurisdiction
• 5 years + PQE in a law firm or in-house
• English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) is a must
• Retail / manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Commercial minded
• Result orientated, responsible and organised
