JOB SCOPE

The overall aim of this full time, permanent, position is to be the accounts function for a Hong Kong company (presently 9 staff) which has plans for an additional office in a different region within 18 months. At present this is a “one person role” requiring all functions on the S&P ledgers, full control of the GL, production of monthly and annual accounts, responsibility for the management of the salary, MPF, tax and insurance policies, treasury management, development of P&L and cashflow budgets and the refinement and production of a suite of KPIs. You will work closely with the Managing Director and will be expected to advise and suggest improvements rather than passively wait for instructions. The company is growing strongly, with control, to a plan and needs to continuously upgrade and refine its systems. QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree level or equivalent professional qualification such as HKICPA.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience of a small, growing company.

• Responsibility for preparation of accounts from data-input, liaison with clients and suppliers, tax, insurance and MPF suppliers.

• We use Sage/Peachtree accounting software

• With valid Hong Kong working visa is an advantage.
