Responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring A&A works / Interior Fitting Out Works, dealing with technical matters and liaising with consultants / contractors to ensure that specifications, working procedures, schedules, quality and site safety are in compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.
• Knowledge in reading the approved A&A plans and transfer it into contractor language for contractors and workers to follow.
• Attend meetings and report to the employer from time to time the status of the work assigned.
• Monitor progress and workmanship quality, carry out inspections, participate in testing and commissioning, and manage site records.
• Assist in reviewing contractors' submittals, and ensure the quality of as-built drawings and documents.
• Documentation for reporting completion to Authorities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in Construction / Building Services / Building Studies / Building Services Engineering or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in A&A works / fitting out works; in similar capacity as on-site coordinator with developers or architectural and consultant firms preferred.
• Strong technical background and site experience of inspection of A&A works / fitting out works, checking compliance of works with specifications, drawings and method statements.
• Proficient in Chinese, English, computer operation and report writing
• Conversant with construction practices (details and methods), specifications, relevant codes and practices.
