JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Development Executive works on initiatives and projects to grow .hk domain name registrations by managing and cooperating with resellers and introduce new services or promotions associated with .hk. With a strong business, customer and partnership focus, the Business Development Executive assists in planning and coordination of the development and implementation of new internet products and services. The incumbent also builds relationship with local, regional and global industry players and supports partnership on initiatives which achieve win-win for parties involved as well as internet users. The Business Development Executive has to possess a strong business acumen, systematic thinking, attention to details and strong people skills in order to be successful in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Undertake data collection and research exercises for business development purposes
• Prepare business plan for new initiatives and opportunities
• Coordinate with other departments and external stakeholders on the development and implementation of new products services in accordance with their launch plans
• Assist supervisor in building and fostering relationship with local, regional and global players in the internet domain name industry
• Undertake acquisition, account management and support tasks for customers and partners
• Assist in Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) on Systems
• Act as a backup support for Operations team
• Handle ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• University graduate on Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant disciplines
• Minimum 2 years working experience in all or some of the following areas: business development, product development, channel management, marketing or relevant functions, preferably in an ISP or Internet technology environment.
• Strong business sense, attention to details and quality of work.
• Strong interest in latest developments in the internet market and technologies.  
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both English and Chinese
• Able to work under pressure and on multiple projects at a time
• Willing and ready to travel to the mainland China and overseas
• Immediately available
