Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

As brand guardian for all Gap Inc brands in the Asia Pacific region you will support the brand marketing manager to ensure global brand consistency across all customer facing channels throughout the region by guiding franchise partners in translating the global marketing strategies into locally relevant marketing campaigns.

This exciting and fast-moving role is focused primarily on managing relationships and the marketing mix in territories where the brand already has presence whilst developing thebrand and partners marketing capabilities.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner management

- Assist the marketing manager in guiding franchise partners to develop & execute locally relevant full marketing mix campaigns including ABT & BTL initiatives which complement the brands global goals whilst supporting the franchise partner’s business objectives

-Monitor seasonal performance across all brands and cascade learnings, opportunities and successes with the regional team and wider marketing function.

Regional expert -Keep abreast of competitor activity and market developments in your region to help inform future decisions -Influence franchise partners to adopt new technologies and media channels according to market maturity - Establish, build and maintain strong partnerships with your regional key contacts

 

Support & communications

- Work with key internal stakeholders for smooth program execution: marketing, PR, VM, Planning, Digital & CRM Manager, Social Manager, Design, Learning & Development, Finance & Regional leads

- Assist in compiling presentations for tracking results of all regional and partner activity

- General administration duties

-Arrange task list for Marketing Manager as required

 

GUIDANCE/ORGANISATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

- Responsible for managing multiple projects at one time - should be able to prioritize workload to meet deliverables. - Primary/support contact for all brands day-to-day requests and issues in the region - Will use proven proactive & persuasion skills to ensure market and all brands objectives are met

 

PROBLEM SOLVING, ANALYSIS & DECISION MAKING:

- Ability to build strong relationships internally & externally with stakeholders to help make informed decisions
 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

- Excellent English oral & written communication skills

- Highly flexible, open minded and adapts well to changing environments

- A “can-do” attitude & be willing/effective in working independently or as part of an extended cross-functional team

- Strong project management, planning & organizational skills with an ability to manage several tasks at once

- Proactive & detail oriented, with strong analytical, organizational & communication skills and a keen sense of urgency

Minimum educational level:

- Educated to degree level preferably with major in marketing, business or related discipline

Minimum Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of marketing experience

- Fashion related or agency experience desired

- Worked within a franchise structure highly favorable

Physical Requirements:

- May need to attend late night or early morning conference calls
 

NOTE: This is a 7-month full-time contract role from July 2017 to Jan 2018, subject to the employee's performance and budget headcount, there might be a chance to convert into a permanent full-time contract.
