Responsibilities 

• Supervise and monitor the merchandising team for ensuring the orders are handled properly, timely and cost-effectively
  
• Follow up merchandising process from the stages of sampling development till to bulk production for ensuring on-time bulk garment deliveries in good quality
  
• Provide guidance and support to the team members for ensuring their understanding and fulfillment of customers' requirements and standards
• Training, coaching and managing the merchandising team members in our China office for ensuring their understanding of their roles in daily merchandising workflow and strengthening their job & product knowledge in order to make the China team can function properly and efficiently
• Identify and develop new potential garment manufacturers and materials suppliers
• Strengthen and maintain the good and long-term relationships with customers and vendors for growing up the business
• Frequent travel is required

Requirements

• Degree holder in Garment, Merchandising, Textile or related disciplines is preferable
• At least 8 - 10 years’ solid experience in garment merchandising, in which 4 years at the same level
• Strong product knowledge in the relevant garment items
  
• Strong washing knowledge
• Able to deal with overseas buyers, garment manufacturers, materials vendors and suppliers independently
• Experience in dealing with US buyers
• Good supervisory skills
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and able to communicate in Mandarin
• Responsible, presentable, well-organized and self-motivated
• Able to work under pressure
