Duties and responsibilities include:

• Level 2/3 support
• Linux systems and services administration
• Local systems technical support
• Write and maintain procedures and policies  

Requirements:

• 3+ years Linux experience in a high-volume critical production service environment with an emphasis on programming and/or scripting, task automation, and security best practices
• Able to work autonomously
• Strong knowledge of PHP, bash, Perl, etc., with experiencing building database driven web applications an asset
• Solid experience with Apache (HTTP) and MySQL in a production environment mandatory
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and network troubleshooting
• Experience with proxies (for example Squid) a definite asset
• Experience with Subversion (server-side administration) an asset
• Experience with monitoring tools such as SNMP, Sensu, Cacti, MRTG, Nagios, etc.
• Experience with UNIX email subsystems with antivirus solutions, DNS, FTP, etc. an asset
• Good  interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong  organizational and project management skills and analysis methodology
• Ability to work under stress and in a 24x7x365 production environment is essential
