Job Scope:

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients and building new business pipelines by generating interest from potential pharmaceutical and health supplement clients (principals).  Developing good rapport and communication with new clients is a key part of the job role.

Job Responsibilities:

Business Development part:

• Follow up current sales leads and prospect for potential new clients and turn these into solid leads and following up existing leads with the assistance and support from his/her team and the marketing team
• Liaise and engage with existing pharmaceutical and health supplement principals for extra opportunities
• Screen potential RFI/RFP by analysing tender information released by potential principals and evaluate internal fit and recommend next steps
• Work with internal teams to develop proposals and pricing package that can fit the clients’ needs and requirements
• Work with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation and transition of new projects to Account Management team

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor degree in Science, Business, Logistics or related disciplines
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the logistics or pharmaceutical field, rich knowledge about logistics / supply chain management would be a plus
• Demonstrate extensive relationship and exposure in the pharmaceutical field will be an advantage
• Strong ability to understand, communicate with, and effectively interact with people across cultures and countries
• Good command of English, both spoken and written
