Role Description:

The Platform Executive / Platform Specialist is responsible for day-to-day management of Search Marketing, Social Advertising and Real Time Bidding (RTB) campaigns for a client account. Platform Executive / Platform Specialists will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of SEO, SEM, SEM, Social PPCs and RTB campaigns. SEO Strategies are managed across the following capabilities: SEO audits, keyword research, insights & analysis, optimisation strategies, technical recommendations, content strategies and best practice consultancy.  SEM, Social PPCs and RTBs Strategies are managed across the following capabilities: Keyword research and inventories set up, campaign and ad group structure set up, ad copies write-up, creative design recommendation, insights and analysis for on-going optimization and daily bidding, A/B or multi-variate testing, Landing Page Optimization, etc.

Business Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert consultancy and execution for client projects.
  • Manage client relationships and provide timely communications to clients for strategies, optimisation and insights.
  • Participate in regional presentations, conference calls to assist counterpart teams in other regions around the world.
  • Responsible for effectively managing best practice by implementing strategies and performing post implementation analysis.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and offer ideas and suggestions to improve and evolve optimizations.
  • Provide support to Platform Managers in preparing and researching the latest trend of organic and paid search algorithms
  • Notify Platform Manager of any account issues with algorithm changes, performance or visibility changes and help devise ways to address or mitigate said issues
  • Notify Platform Manager of any account issues with KPI performance and strategies for resolution for client projects
  • Lead communication with teams across Omnicom Media Group as appropriate, and provide consultative services to assist with business and account development.
  • Communications regarding the account as needed with appropriate engine, partners, and vendors.
  • Format reports and provide top-line insights for on-going reports and post-buy analysis.
  • Provide new business support to Platform Directors by completing case studies.
  • Understand metrics and KPIs of account and continually suggest optimizations to improve visibility, traffic and conversion.
  • Develop knowledge of client’s business, competition and latest industry news and trends.
  • Work with the Account Manager & Platforms Director to formulate and execute Digital Marketing strategies.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships interdepartmentally as well as those outside the team.

Skills and Behaviours:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of web analytic metrics
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Shows interest and engages in non-search disciplines’ social, and display apart from SEO and SEM
  • Develops knowledge of client’s business, competition and latest industry news and trends
  • Knowledge of at least one third-party search tool and SEM / Social bidding software

Qualifications and Other Relevant Information:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1-4 years relevant SEO / SEM / Social Advertising / RTB bidding experience
  • Prior experience in a media agency
  • Has experience in working across Asian markets and languages
  • Candidate with more experience will be consider as Platform Strategist
