Job Summary:

Leading engineering and development projects aiming Printed Circuit Board (PCB) technology development and qualification. Form and lead simultaneous engineering teams from international Bosch departments. Collaboration with internal and as well as external development partners such as printed circuit board suppliers and those in the supply chain. Ensure achievement of project goals under time and budget constraints using basic project management tools such as risk management, change management, milestone tracking.


Job Duties:

• Define projects based on customer requirements, form simultaneous engineering team(s) to ensure achievement of project goals within given time and budget constraints
• Make proposals to meet product requirements, technical improvement and product cost reduction
• Motivate and manage international teams
• Carry out project tasks according to Bosch processes and standards
• Design accelerated lab testing for development, release and qualifications
• Prepare specifications for PCB technology
• Worldwide travelling for technical and project progress discussions at development partners, suppliers

Requirements:

• Master of Science or PhD. in Chemistry, Physics, or Materials / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in design and constructional department of a PCB manufacturer or equivalent (e.g. Ph.D. degree)
• Specific reliability engineering knowledge in PCB technology
• Strong intercultural skills working with colleagues from Asia, Europe and US
• Cross functional and results oriented thinking
• Strong self-confidence, assertiveness
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools
• Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, Mandarin; German is of advantage
• Good presentation skills
