We have urgent requirement for a Senior Design Staff with strong design experience, must have experience for Exterior or Interior Facade Projects. We work in joint partnership with some of the largest Facade Contractors and Consultants in Hong Kong who have strong global presence across Asia and in Europe.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordination with clients, architects, consultants façade contractors and other project team members will be an integral part of the candidate’s role
• Project Experience in High End Retail, Hotel and Residential projects will be preferred 
• To be able to manage all design activities as described in the design process
• Design Manager will be responsible for visual mock-up, test mock up, material tests, approval of all necessary drawings and associated documents and samples by the Client and/or Architect and Main Contractor as well as all design related contractual or statutory approvals, certificates or the like
• Must have experience in handling medium size design team and to ensure the design managed by directly leading the Test Engineer, System Design Leaders(s), Building Information Leader(s) and Engineers.
• Understand the project organization and the design process
• Understand the procurement, production and installation requirements
• Capability to design, understanding technical requirements and the basis of necessary calculations, verifications, tests, etc.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma/Certificate in Architecture, Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Atleast 5 years Façade specific Technical Design experience with consultant OR contractor background
• Less experienced will be considered for the positions as Senior Facade Designer or Project Facade Designer
• Well versed with 2-D and 3-D design software including but not limited to AutoCad, CATIA
• The position requires strong technical abilities in building façade design and construction
• The candidate should have a solid background and experience in the design of various façade systems
