We are a fast-growing organic vegetable delivery provider. We need someone who thinks fast, is detailed-oriented and understands the importance of product quality. Since we are a small company, the perfect candidate will be willing to learn new skills and propose improvements to existing processes.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the warehouse staff and incoming/outgoing deliveries, fulfilling orders, tracking warehouse inventory and coordinating with the Customer Service Specialist regarding order specifics, special requests and complaints.

Work location: Lincoln Centre, 20 Yip Fung Street, Fanling

Experience & Education:

· Minimum two years of warehouse supervision or equivalent experience (preference given to candidates with experience handling vegetables or perishable products.)

· Knowledge of food safety practices, traceability and safety and how to achieve the required standards

· Must be fluent in written and oral English and Cantonese. Preference will be given to candidates who are also conversational in Mandarin. Candidate must be able to type using both English and Cantonese

· General computer skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word

· Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Zoho, Xero)

· General accounting knowledge

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 75 pounds

Responsibilities:

· Manage and motivate warehouse staff

· Monitor and record number of working hour of each warehouse staff

· Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse

· Operate warehouse with full knowledge of food safety practices, traceability and safety standards

· Supervise quality control of vegetables, removing compromised plant matter

· Make sure that minimum pack weights are observed

· Supervise packing and fulfilment of orders

· Liaise with CSR regarding order requests and delivery schedules; help answer customer enquiries regarding order tracking on delivery days; help solve customer complaints.

· Ensure timely twice-a-day inventory audits as scheduled; Beginning and End of Day

· Update online store product availability to reflect stock count

· Monitor and investigate inventory discrepancies

· Keep log of non-durable packaging materials such as labels, bags, tape, waybills and boxes and establish reordering limit

· Coordinate with delivery service providers

· Keep relevant logs on delivery services used

· Liaise with farm regarding shipment demand according to customer demand

· Work with Operations Manager to minimize waste and adjust farm production / shipments to customer demand

· Work with and communicate with management concerning all operational issues

· Assist with loss prevention such as theft, spoilage, cash control procedures, price accuracy and control of inventory, including proper logging and reporting of such matters on a daily basis.

· Ensure all production checks are completed accurately and on time. Ensure that all products are appropriately and accurately labelled, according to customer and company specifications.
