Job Description

The Role

  • Manage market research projects in the Asia Pacific region, with primary focus on China and Chinese customers
  • Manage the research process effectively from project initiation to agency selection and to quality deliverables
  • Deliver insights-focused presentations to key business stakeholders from local, regional and global levels
  • Regularly source, analyze and compile Consumer reports from various sources, highlighting key issues and implications of importance to the overall business, e.g. Tourism report, Shopper studies, Channel investigation etc
  • Develop annual research plan based on information needs and knowledge gaps

 

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree holder in Marketing / Social Sciences discipline
  • 6-8 years of working experience in market research field
  • Genuine passion for customer experience, customer insights and consumer behaviour
  • Proven experience of identifying customer trends and patterns which are impactful to the business
  • Numerically-sensitive with strong commercial awareness
  • An in-depth understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Competent in multi-tasking and work under tight deadline / time pressure
