Hertford Academy is a brand-new test-preparation and tutorial centre in Hong Kong. We are looking for tutors with excellent academic backgrounds and a passion for teaching to give tailored individual and small-group classes to secondary school students in Hong Kong. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Desired subjects: Maths, Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English

Job Responsibilities:

- Design and give individual tutorials and small-group classes in your subject area

- Assist in the development of teaching materials and specific courses

- Provide advice on applications to British and American universities to study your subject

- Keep up-to-date with developments in various teaching syllabuses, including International Baccalaureate, A-level and iGCSE

- Act as a mentor for students

Job Requirements:

- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline

- An excellent academic record at secondary and tertiary level

- Teaching experience or evidence of suitability for teaching

- Higher degrees are an advantage

- Fluency in English; ability in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an advantage

Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Part-time tutors can earn 350-450 HKD per hour, depending on experience.

Full-time tutors can earn 20 - 30 000 HKD per month, depending on experience.

Hertford Academy is a tuition centre in Hong Kong.
