The Job:

• According to VDA 6.3, perform Supplier assessments and audits Supplier Quality performance with scheduled
• Manage and monitor suppliers to ensure capability of quality control, all part quality specifications are met
• Ability to actively drive Supplier Corrective Actions (8D) to closure
• Identify key process control parameters / characteristics and review adequacy of Quality Control Plans
• Coordinate closely with NPI Engineering team to support new strategic awards, awareness of materials critical to quality, assure supplier understanding of product and submission requirements
• Ability to read technical drawings and familiar with Measurement System Analysis
• Support Production, and incoming Engineer of proper resolution of parts attributed to poor supplier quality, and ensure timely closure and continuity of supply and Backup plan
• Monitor and support approval process of supplier PPAP's for New parts and Engineering Change modified parts
• Monitor Supplier Quality Performance, including supplier quality and control documentation, raw material control, Run @ Rates, PPAP runoffs, etc.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering or related discipine
• Experience in supplier quality management in automotive hardware, gear box, switch manufacturing field is preferred
• Good knowledge in quality / manufacturing management
• Familiar with 5S/FMEA/SPC/8D report writing
• Understand and comply with IATF16949, ISO9001, VDA6.3 policies and procedures
• Experience with manufacturing and inspection of raw materials, machined parts, fabricated components, or electrical assemblies
• Ability to perform root cause analysis blend of technical and proven analytical ability
• Test methodologies, inspection gauges and equipment knowledge
• Good command in spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Positive, hardworking and strong communication skills
