Job Description
Operations Officer
Responsibilities
- Oversee various reconciliation processes on a daily basis
- Resolve breaks in trades, cash balances and positions on a timely manner
- Interact with prime brokers, execution brokers and fund administrator on trade related issues
- Preparation of daily reports to internal and external parties
- Preparation of filings to regulators
- Develop enhancement tools and processes to automate daily tasks
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, sciences or related disciplines
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in operations, buy-side preferred
- Knowledge of Asian stock markets and derivative products (SWAPs, OTC options, futures)
- Good PC skills, knowledge of PMS systems and programming preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Candidates with more experience or higher qualification may be considered as Assistant Operations Manager
