A leading, Global bank is looking for a Manager, Trade and Payments for their office expansion in Hong Kong.

You will be responsible for developing the trade related business with special focus on Export Letter of Credit business opportunities with export oriented clients in China and Hong Kong.The incumbent will be responsible for acquiring and managing client relationships, delivering business growth and achieving the set business goals in terms of income.

Trade Finance :

• Manage and grow the trade related businesses, especially Export LC confirmation, Negotiation Advising etc
• Develop business plans to ensure that revenue targets are achieved. Also develop & implement product sales strategy and tactical sales plan
• Through Knowledge in Trade Finance with special reference to China  and Hong Kong Clients.
• Contacting China beneficiaries/Customers on the L/c advising, negotiation, Confirmation, Discounting and Trade Finance revenue as the business target  
• Good knowledge on China requirements on Trade, Process and Procedures and enlarging  client base of China and Taiwan
• To develop and build client base for Export business to the   targeted segments
• Good knowledge or prior experience in handling products like Letter of Credits Advising, Confirmation, Negotiation, Bank Guarantees, Standbys,  etc

 Skills Required :

• Effective knowledge in  Trade with special reference to HK and China  to achieve the revenue targets
• Good Knowledge on Customer segment for Trade Sales
• Swift operational skills in decision making and  performance
• Customer resolution techniques
• Presentation skills ( PPT, MS office and Excel) 

Competencies: 

• Must have sound operational knowledge on China Trade to achieve the sales targets.
• Preferably must have worked in similar roles earlier with 2 to 3 Year’s experience in a bank.
• UCPDC and confirmation business expertise
• PPT preparation, MS OFFICE, EXCEL knowledge and Good presentation skills
• English, Cantonese and Mandarin essential
