About the Role

We're looking for a highly driven and goal-oriented sales manager to support our growth into new markets and expand our e-commerce business. Ideal candidate should have great communications skills and in-depth knowledge in e-commerce.

Knowledge in retail for design-oriented consumer products is essential. Strong analytical skill, initiative, detail oriented work ethic and dependability are key aspects. The candidate should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in an environment that is deadline driven, fast paced, highly collaborative, and ever-evolving.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with owner to outline sales goals and execution plan.

• Grow and expand sales with retail partners, corporate customers and new business categories. Establish new accounts and distribution channels in existing and new countries globally.

• Expand e-commerce sales. Create business requirements for creative updates to the website and email campaigns, collaborate with internal web creative and copy teams to concept, create and execute effective and accurate email campaigns and site creative on a daily/weekly basis.

• Be responsible to drive active customer engagement as part of social media strategy (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and forums); write copy for all content/posts; manage and load creative content.

• Analyze our web and transactional data, draw insights from analysis, and partner cross- functionally to influence decision-making.

• Understand web-user behavior to influence and support our online marketing strategies and prioritization. Sales & Ecommerce Business Development Manager

• Develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing products. Manage the productivity of the marketing plans and report on all marketing activity and results.

• Pull and analyze weekly inventory and sales reports for trends; re-merchandise site/update creative as needed to drive sales for particular products or collections.

• Accurately forecasts and report annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly revenue streams.

• Product launch. Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross- functional implementation of the plan

• Documentation. Help us build operational playbook by writing our Standard Operating Procedures and developing the workflow to sustain them.

• Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

• Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.

• Collaborates with owner to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.

 

What we are looking for

• BS/BA required; preferred degree in Retail, Business or Marketing with a minimum of three (3) years related experience within retail or e-commerce.

• An expert analyst with strong knowledge of SQL, statistics, customer behavior analysis, and experimental design

• Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics/Website Optimizer, Adobe Analytics, Coremetrics, Optimizely, etc.)

• Naturally curious, seeks out understanding by diving deep into the data.

• An excellent communicator who loves to share findings and actionable insights.

• Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

• Proven ability to develop marketing and sales strategies.

• Meticulous attention to detail and good with numbers.

• A love for process, problem solving complicated situations and a natural desire to simplify processes to optimize efficiency.

• A start-up/hustle/roll-up-your-sleeve mentality.
