Job Description
We are looking for a full time Accounting Assistant / Clerk to support our finance department by working on liquidation accounts and other general accounting and administrative duties.
Job duties include:
- Receipts and payments – payments of fees, expenses and dividends on behalf of companies in liquidation
- Update companies’ liquidation account with information and ledgers
- Other accounting and administrative duties
- Daily accounting operation and documentation works
- Prepare accounting vouchers and data input
- Reconcile inter-company transactions
- Assist in ad hoc duties as assigned
Key requirements:
- LCC higher or above
- 2-3 years experience of general bookkeeping / receipts and payments
- Prior experience of liquidation accounts is an added advantage
- Native Chinese with a good command of spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office & MYOB
- Overtime work is sometimes required
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good team player, diligent and independent
- Well-organised with good interpersonal skills
- Reliable and able to work under pressure
