We are currently looking for an experienced Operations Manager with absolute obsession with delivering 100% Quality Products.  Based in Hong Kong, your will manage the whole production process from supplier management to quality control, to ensure efficient and high quality delivery of products and services to our customers.  Essentially, you will be required to:-

• Ensure SOPs are in place and updated regularly for all activities
• Set and manage operations budgets
• Manage, vet, validate and set up of suppliers  
• Manage factory scorecard & conduct regular audits
• Coordinate PO’s to suppliers
• Manage supplier production scheduling for 30 to 60 day production cycles
• Pricing negotiations
• Negotiate and formalise terms and conditions with suppliers
• Communicate 12 month sales forecasts by product category to all suppliers
• Ensure all customer required export and shipping documentations are in place (certificate of origin, certificate of conformity, bill of landing, packing slip)
• QC requirements communication to suppliers and QC scheduling
• Notify senior management of any quality issue that arises during the production and assembly process
• Manage collection and filing of all product specific standards, testing and compliance certificates
• Coordinate raw material and sub-assembly consolidation
• Manage coordination of supplier post-production delivery of components to BACN or other 3^rd party assembly facility as required
• Coordination of packing, consolidation and delivery to HK cross docking warehouse
• Provide delivery schedule and status to Dropsafe Sales & Customer Service team
• Provide minimum 10 days’ notice to Customer Service for any deliveries that will not meet customer requirement esp PO deadlines

To be successful in the role, you will be/have:-

• 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in managing the production of highly sophisticated products.  
• Proven track record in supplier management and quality control in China
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Thrive in a collaborative environment, whilst also working autonomously.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese is a must
• Tech-savvy.  Experience with using ERP systems
• May require occasional international travel.
