A leading garment manufacturer is currently expanding the supply chain team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Lead a small team of 6 in supply chain

• Provide logistics expertise including appropriate solutions and support for key stakeholders and vendors

• Communicate and implement logistics standard operating procedures with internal and external stakeholders

• Ensure 3PLs and vendors execute flawlessly against logistics SOPs

• Coordinate with 3PL on-site representatives, origin 3PLs and carriers

• Identify the root cause of on time performance failures from the team and fine tune the analysis prior to submitting to management

• Resolve origin operations issues such as ocean/airfreight capacity challenges, equipment supply, schedule changes, void sailings or unexpected delays

• Handle and resolve vendors’ or merchandisers’ enquiries in timely manner

• Conduct logistics and trade compliance-related training for vendors, merchandisers and other stakeholders

• Maintain professional and effective working relationships with third party logistics service providers (3PLs) while monitoring and providing performance feedback on a regular basis

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• University graduate, preferably in Business or Engineering discipline

• At least 10 years’ experience in supply chain management, trade compliance, international logistics, global transportation, retail distribution and/or related professional experience

• Systems-savvy, highly analytical and numerical

• Process-driven, meticulous and accurate; highly organized

• Problem-solving & decision-making quality: able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems

• Ability to travel
