Global Travel Retail is Pernod Ricard’s 2nd largest market in terms of profit and a strategic focus for the business.

 

Digital Manager, Travel Retail Asia Pacific

 

Reporting to Digital, PR, Media and Event Director based in London, Digital manager, Travel Retail Asia Pacific is part of activation hub based in Hong Kong, providing digital expertise, planning and delivering digital activations within Business units  in the Asia-Pacific region ( including Business Unit- North Asia, Business Unit South East Asia, Business Unit - Pacific, Business Unit - India) 

 

Key Missions:

  1. In line with GTR digital strategy, Plan, develop and deliver concrete programs within Asia –Pacific region to achieve business objectives, working closely with central digital team, central brand Marketing team and BU. The programs include but not limited to the following work streams

o    e-commerce strategy: develop and implement Online-to-offline strategies to drive activation and purchase at the ‘Last 3 Feet’ across the region

o    Footfall/conversion strategy: leverage digital tools as key enabler during traveler’s whole journey, in order to drive footfall and conversion and increase sales of our portfolio in Travel Retail Channel in the Region.

o    CRM strategy : Contribute to develop and  to implement CRM strategy and  tools within Asia-Pacific, in order to drive better understanding and engagement of our consumers and customers.

  1. As Travel Retail Asia-Pacific digital champion, participate in global digital activation programmes within his/her region.
  2. As Travel Retail Asia-Pacific digital champion, work closely with Business Units to Integrate and deliver digital into brand planning and activation. Support BU Marketing teams with digital aspects of activation, and create ability to post evaluate.
  3. Drive for tangible and measurable results. Establish and roll-out common KPIs, dashboards and reporting tools, as well as benchmarks linked to core digital acceleration work streams.
  4. Drive the mind-set change, enhance Travel Retail Asia Pacific employees, especially Business Unit Marketing teams’ digital competencies.
  5. Other ad hoc duties as required.

 

Profile

o    Equivalent regional experience in digital/eCommerce/Consumer Experience roles, with strong track record in delivering digital transformation projects regonally

o    Proven track record of leadership of a large multi-functional and multi-cultural team with meaningful business impact

o    Knowledge and familiarity across spectrum of opportunities within brand building in a digital age (ranging from journey and touchpoint planning, data analytics, CRM to SEO/SEM and community management)

o    Experience partnering internally with different functions /teams of an organization and externally with key service providers and strategic digital and/or eCommerce partners

o    Entrepreneurial spirits, Result driven and pragmatic approach

o    Min 7 years relevant experience in Digital in retail industry/ consumer brands

o    Fluent English speaker

o    Frequent business trip required
