• Support fabric sourcing, new development and selection at design stage
• Conduct market research & analysis for fabric & fashion trends
• Source the potential new fabric mills / suppliers
• Work closely with fabric mills / suppliers for new fabric development
• Handle color projects and maintain / update color library & color theme books for fabric
• Supplier visits and occasional travel to PRC are required

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in fashion, textile or related disciplines
• At least 6 years' solid experience in handling woven fabric or knit fabric R&D
  
• Good fabric sourcing networks in China and the overseas countries
• Experienced in fabric sourcing and new development for ladies' wear at design stage
  
• Experienced in U.S. market is definitely an advantage
• Preferably with garment trading / buying office background
• Good fabric sense and understanding in fashionable market trend
• Able to communicate with overseas designers & fabric mills / suppliers
• Good command of spoken and written English & able to communicate in Mandarin
• Mature, responsible, well-organized, self-motivated and be a good team player
