Responsibilities:

• Management of electronic trading platforms during HK time zone and the proper handover and work around with the London Market Risk team (limit setting, checking, monitoring & escalation; daily client buying power, SOD prices and net position checking).
• Provide input into the development of an effective risk management framework for SFHKL, with a focus on electronic trading platforms.
• Day to day responsibility for overseeing the risk management function and operation risk for SFHKL, including identification, monitoring and risk reporting.
• Develop and maintain effective documentation on risk management procedures, processes and methodologies.
• Oversee the SFHKL house account on a daily basis to ensure there is no risk exposure.
• Daily preparation of the account monitoring file for London Market Risk.
• Large Open Position reporting to HK Exchange.
• Act as a centralized point for couriering KYC documents to the London Documentation Department.
• Provide support, when required, to back office staff in the operations and compliance functions.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as necessary assign by GM.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years’ experience in a Risk related function or department, preferably within in the Futures & Options industry.
• Knowledge and experience of electronic trading platforms.
• Able to think analytically and make decisive judgements, with good attention to detail.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility, be self-motivated and a team player.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of the LME and e-FX businesses
• Experience of using CQG/Integral/PATs platforms
• Fluent in Mandarin

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or have gained equivalent professional qualifications,in Risk Management, Accounting or relevant Finance related subjects
