Dynamics of the Role

We are seeking APAC Decision Services Solution Consultant to join a dynamic and fast paced team. This position is responsible for supporting sales activities of TransUnion Decision Services solutions, by providing industry expertise, product knowledge and process mapping capabilities to increase win rates, deal size and ongoing value of customer relationships to TransUnion. This position is based in Hong Kong, focusing on Hong Kong market

 

How You’ll Contribute:

  • Deliver annual revenue plans of Hong Kong decision service solutions. Actively support sales efforts by providing expertise and consultative services to uncover new opportunities, create compelling value propositions and ultimately increase our win rate
  • Increase market perception of TransUnion decision service solutions. Establish self as market leader, industry expert and consultative partner. Generate and present industry and client insights; deliver thought leadership
  • Focus on addressing customer’s pain point. Focus on the customer first and assemble solutions to meet their specific needs vs. focusing or over-emphasizing a specific product or service; help customers understand and communicate their needs and deliver solutions to address those needs
  • Ensure successful transition from ‘sales’ to ‘customer delivery’ to deliver and nurture positive customer experiences. Accurately capture and communicate scope. Sell/position solutions that are aligned to our strategy and our capability set to deliver; limit “whiteboard” custom solutions; sell solutions that are good for our customers and good for TransUnion (profitability). Serve as the “customer advocate” or “proxy” during the early stages of the solution design (IT) stage
  • Achieve TransUnion New Product revenue plans and increase penetration of complex solutions. Leverage skillset and consultative approach to increase success of new and more complex solution sales

 

What You’ll Bring

The successful candidate will be a solution consultant with extensive client engagement and sales experience. This position requires a minimum of 5 years progressive experience in banking, financial services or software solution industry. Prior experience and successful track records in a software solution field is higher desirable. A bachelor degree is required

  • Proficiency: possesses expertise in Decision Service solutions, recognized as a subject matter expert. Prior experience with a Credit Reference Agency preferred
  • Efficiency: ability to generate significant output with minimal waste and direct supervisio

  • Communication: speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of communication. Proficiency in English is required. Mastery of Cantonese a plus
