Our client, a well-known and worldwide property developer, is looking for different levels of design specialists based in Hong Kong to join her PRC property project team due to business expansion. 

Assistant Design Director, Structural

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Structural & Geotechnical Design Management projects;
• Co-ordinate with design consultant on developing the design, material used and drawings production and ensure cost effective design solution and project implementation;
• Liaise with the internal departments, consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the project objective and monitor project performance or progress;
• Providing capabilities and professional knowledge in the aspects involved in design of all types of buildings;
• Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and ability to advise other disciplines regarding aspects of their design

 Requirements:

• Degree or above in Civil / Structural / Geotechnical Engineering or related disciplines;
• Qualified Engineer / Registered Professional Engineer (Civil / Structural / Geotechnical) with relevant consulting engineering experience;
• At least 15 years’ solid working experience in design firm and property developer with site management experience will be an added value;
• Past working experience in PRC First Tier cities will be an definite asset ;
• Strong leadership with good negotiation and communication skills; 
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua (a MUST) and Cantonese;
• Proficiency in MS Office application & Chinese word processing is a MUST

Deputy Design Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist Head of Design Department to carry out design work for China projects including new projects and tendering of new land;
• Follow up tender agreement and regulations / conditions;
• Formulate and audit design proposal; 
• Liaise with internal departments, consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the project objective;
• Comment and set up standard of tender drawing, with comprehensive knowledge on project overview and detail drawing

  Requirements:

• Degree or above in Interior Design or Architecture or related discipline;
• Minimum 7 years’ PRC Project design experience in design company especially in pre-development stage;
• Solid design experience in engaging PRC commercial & residential project with Property Developers will be preferable;
• Strong leadership with good negotiation and communication skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua (a MUST) and Cantonese;
• Proficiency in MS Office application & Chinese word processing is a MUST;
• Occasional travel back to China is required 

Assistant Design Manager (Interior)

 Responsibilities:

• Assist Design Manager to manage major China interior design projects;
• Co-ordinate with design consultant on developing the design develop, material used and drawings production and ensure cost effective design solution and project implementation;
• Chair regular co-ordination meeting with consultant and monitor project progress;
• Handle commercial shopping mall and office tower projects from design concept  till tendering phase;
• Liaise with the internal departments, consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve the project objective;
• Comments and set up standard of tender drawing, with comprehensive knowledge on project overview and detail drawing

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Interior Design or Architecture faculty
• 7-10 years solid & relevant working experience in Interior Design especially in Retail Shopping Mall and Office Tower project.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Power Point , Sketch up & MS Office Application (3D Max is preferred)
• Familiar with Architectural, Interior and Building Services, and Structural design knowledge and have strong design co-ordination ability;
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua  (a MUST) and Cantonese.
• Occasional travel back to China is required.
