On behalf of a major Client in search of experienced NOC Technician(s)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily system operations according to handbook, including batch job submissions, tape mounting and other administrative tasks
• Monitor systems / network and react according to recovery procedures
• Attend to helpdesk phone calls and call registration into helpdesk system
• Assist System and Network Engineer to perform problem diagnosis
• Follow procedures for problem escalation and interface with service vendors

Requirements:

• Diploma holders in Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience in computer operation support, leased line and data network operation
• Knowledge in CISCO router and switches, HPUX, Linux, Sun Solaris, IBM AIX and /or Microsoft Windows server and PC environment
• Spoken/written English and Chinese and proficient in Putonghua
• Shift duty is required
