Roles & Responsibilities:

• Master Data management / Data architecture design (Both RDBMS and Big Data Platform)
• Support to build business analytics data roadmap and work with different parts of the business to drive execution on the roadmap
• Standardize data model, Data Governance Control (i.e. data Model, data dictionary, business logic, data glossary, standardize data definition)
• Setup data management procedures and controls and review them on an annual basis
• Support to run the Data Board, acting as the Board Secretary
• Review and maintain the healthiness of analytics platform and BI platform
• Support data analysis and define data quality monitoring procedures
• Collaborate with various departments to design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions
• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise on data management process design, and data management plan
• Meet with other stakeholders to discuss the business requirements for the information to be delivered
• Make recommendations and drive towards consensus regarding the appropriate data sources, business rules, and end product content or format and delivery mechanisms to meet requirements
• Mentor and develop team members / partners on their programming techniques for Business Analysis, Data mining and analytical tools in order to improve effectiveness and cost efficiency
• Lead data integration projects and enablement (Big data platform)

Requirements:

• Master Degree in Computer Science, Information System, Math, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field.
• You will need to have a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in data management, data analytics, big data implementation
• Solid experience on SAS, Oracle SQL programming skills and Java
• Knowledge of Python, Hadoop, Spark, or R
• Solid experience on enterprise data model design
• Solid experience on data preparation, ETL and data integration
• Proven experience in data analysis and data management
• Proven experience in various analytics and reporting tools – Cognos, Tableau, SAS Studio, SAS Visual Analytics, SAS Visual Statistics, SAS Enterprise Guide
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, interpersonal skills are required, including the capacity to articulate the case for information management in the language of business
• Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal or external stakeholders
• Spoken and written English and Cantonese
