Job Description

Overview

Provide End user support and IT infrastructure maintenance such as trouble-shooting, and hardware (PC/NB, Microsoft Servers, Cisco Routers/Switches and Aruba Wireless Devices) installation and maintenance, and make sure all comply with TE Corporate IT Policy.

Responsibilities:

• IT Helpdesk Support: Answer users’ phone calls or online tickets related to networks, hardware and software problems.
• PC/NB Purchasing/Maintenance: Hardware (PC/NB) purchasing/ installation/ replacement/patch hotfixes & virus pattern updates.
• Network equipment Purchasing/Maintenance: Assist and coordinate with corporate IT for network equipment - routers, switches, wireless AP servers and controller purchasing, installation and maintenance.
• Servers Purchasing/Maintenance: Assist and coordinate with corporate IT for LocalServers –SCCM, AD, File, Printer Servers...purchasing, installation and maintenance.
• Computer room management: Manage computer room - security control, daily/weekly/monthly data backup and UPS to provide a good quality environment for servers and network equipment.  

Competencies & Experience Required/Desired:  

• At least 3 years’ experience in computer networks, hardware and software troubleshooting
• At least 1 years’ experience on administration of Microsoft Servers, Cisco Routers/Switches and Aruba Wireless
• Positive, aggressive and work smart
• Good communication & coordination skills
• Good Self-management skills
• Fluent English and Mandarin in speaking and writing

Educational Required/Desired:  

• Bachelor degree or above.
• Major in Computer science or computer related field
