An international retailer celebrating almost 90 years of success as a leader in Home and Lifestyle products. The company have seen steady growth with over 300 stores since its conception and is currently expanding its Far East Office. They are now seeking a Quality Manager to support and contribute to its growth in their Health & Beauty line.

Candidates with an expertise in production and quality of personal care formulated products are strongly welcome to apply. The responsibilities will include the following:

- Manage and lead a team of Technologists to deliver all technical aspects of product development and ongoing technical management of various categories with a focus on Personal Care products

- Vast knowledge of restricted allergens pertaining to Personal care products

- Ensuring products effectively meet GMP

- Ensuring products meet lead time

- Maintain, develop and train team members to secure core competencies are developed

- Collaborate with Merchandising managers to develop and execute strategy for category delivery

- Establish well-ordered relationship with related internal stakeholders in Asia and headquarters in addition to external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers, third party audits and testing service providers

- Ensuring working practices are fully aligned with Head Office and implemented by local team, suppliers and audits

- Ensure compliance to established quality processes and that proper documentation is maintained

- Secure evaluation of new supplier capability against business needs, conduction of supplier approval when necessary and make recommendation to Merchandiser and buyer concerning optimization of the supplier base

Requirements:

- 7+ years’ experience in relevant QA/QC discipline gained preferably with Major Retailer/Buying Office/Consumer Brand

- Solid experience and extremely familiar with formulated personal care products, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals

- Comprehensive experience in relevant product technical, quality assurance with knowledge in REACH and GMP

- Strong leadership and communication skills to enable effective coaching and development of team members

- Able to produce quality and balanced decisions under pressure

- Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

- Willingness to travel within Asia
