Job Description
Responsibilities:
-
Assist the Coordinator in operating the Community Dog Program (CDP). Duties are various and include, but are not limited to, regular site visits to potential and current CDP locations , candidate identification, dog handling/trapping/catching & transportation, liaison with the parties involved (carers/owners/other interested parties, etc.), data collection and report preparation.

Assist in further developing and improving the program while ensuring effective cooperation and communication both within the SPCA and with outside parties

Assist in training staff & volunteers, as well as help to promote the Society and the CDP at public and community events.
Requirements:

Secondary education or above with excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Good command of written or spoken Cantonese and English (Fluent in Cantonese, knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage)

Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel)

Preferably have animal handling experience and an understanding of animal welfare issues across species

MUST have a valid driving licence (class 1 & 2), be able to operate a manual vehicle, and have relevant driving experience.
