The Job:

• Accountable for the growth and underwriting results of selected lines of property and casualty insurance business as set out in business plan
• Initiate and explore new business development opportunities to generate new business and secure profitable renewal in line with agreed strategies
• Review large/complex cases and deliver underwriting decision

The Person:

• Minimum 7 years relevant underwriting experience
• University graduate or holders of professional qualification in general insurance such as ACII / ANZIIF
• Good technical knowledge and analytical skills
• Good negotiation and influencing skills
• Good network and relationship with insurance intermediaries
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
