The Role

We are looking for an Auditing Operations/Quality Coordinator based in Hong Kong to support the Auditing operations department in daily activities..

This role reports directly to the Auditing Operation Manager based in Brussels and dotted line to FTA Representative Greater Chain as part of the local team.

Audit Operations/Quality in Greater China (GC)

• Support system protocols (e.g. Zero Tolerance, Follow-Up action of Auditing Companies (ACs))
• Primary link for audit technical inquiries (from ACs  and audit members)
• Coordinate technical auditing requests from ACs and members in GC
• Support Auditing Operations Manager in regular audit/assessment activities in GG
• Working Group (WG) / Task Forces (TF) / Calibration Meetings (CM) in GC
• Implement and coordinate audit quality programme as defined by the Secretariat
• Ensure proper implementation of BSCI guidelines by auditors/auditing companies  
• Regular visits and direct surveillance in ACs' office/daily activities in China
• Support investigations of Auditing related quality and corruption cases in China

Professional Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor / Master degree
• At least 4 years of working experience with at least 2 years in social system auditing
• Strong ability to multi-task and coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Proactive, dynamic and open personality
• Ability to fit well into a multi-cultural team
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin - additional languages are an asset  
• Good analytical and writing skills
• Driven by a strong interest in CSR and sustainability topics
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Office, notably Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Willing to travel (30% in China, at least once a year to Brussels)
• A HK Work Permit would be an advantage
