Zyetric Software is a New Zealand based start-up software company focusing on AR/VR technologies and applications.  We are still in stealth mode (we don’t even have a website yet) to develop our patent-pending technologies.  We operate with Silicon Valley style, including stock options for all full-time employees.  We are now setting up our Hong Kong R&D arm and need your help to surprise the world with our leading AR/VR technologies.

Job Duties (Senior Developer):

• As an ideal candidate you should be an experienced iOS and Android developer who will take the leading role of the R&D team. You should be proficient in iOS/Android APP development, and should possess strong architect and design skills.
• Implement low-level API as well as high-level gaming logic.
• Maintain technical documentation as well as other disciplines for the engineering team.
• Optimise code and data for memory usage and performance.
• Keep track of new advances in AR/VR technologies and algorithms.
• Share knowledge and techniques across the HK and NZ teams
• Mentor peer developers and interns

Job Duties (Junior Developer):

• Follow instructions from supervisor and deliver well tested code in a timely basis. 
• Implement clean and well documented codes.
• Write test cases for testing your own or other members’ codes
• Keep track of new advances in AR/VR technologies and algorithms.
• Share knowledge and techniques across the HK and NZ teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (Master and PhD are welcome)
• 3+ years (senior) or 1+ year (junior) experience in software related industry
• Good programming skills in C/C++, SWIFT/Xcode or Java/Android Studio
• (For senior developer) Proven track record of professional software development, including shipping one or more products.
• Familiarity with AR/VR technologies is a GREAT PLUS
• Experience in various AR/VR development platforms such as OpenCV and UE4 will be a GREAT PLUS
• (For senior developer) Leadership experience is also a GREAT PLUS
• Be able to work independently, follow and respect coding standards and help to enforce good programming practices. 
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willing to travel to New Zealand and Silicon Valley when necessary
