Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, the Lifeguard is taking responsibility for the life of people who are participating in a variety of aquatics activities at the HKIS pool.

Requirements:

• Current Hong Kong lifeguard training certification
• Current First Aid, CPR  and AED certification by Hong Kong Red Cross or other similar organization
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Lifeguard
• Working knowledge of lifesaving techniques including spine board rescue
• Strong swimming and lifesaving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons, supervisors, and other employees
• Ability to remain alert, attentive, and responsible
• Willing to work mornings, mid-day, evenings and weekends
• Willing to take additional training courses organized by the Aquatics Department as well as obtaining and keep up to date required qualifications of a lifeguard in Hong Kong
