Job responsibilities :

• In collaboration with external consultants, developing, implementing and running a working IT infrastructure and application landscape locally (in Hong Kong, APEC, China) with due consideration given to the Group IT strategy, standards and requirements
• Selecting, ordering, managing and controlling of local IT service providers
• Purchasing of local IT equipment according to the BRITA standard
• Contact person for Group IT for all IT relevant issues
• Responsible for the planning and keeping of the local IT budget
• Responsible for implementing and keeping of local and group-wide data security and other IT policies
• Supporting of Group IT purchasing activities in Asia
• Leading IT-infrastructure set-up of new BRITA subsidiaries in Asia
• Representing BRITA Hong Kong and Region Asia on international meetings (e.g. F&A-meeting) in terms of IT
• Managing internal IT projects and projects initiated by BRITA GmbH
• Proactively provide IT/program solutions in accelerating operational needs
• Reporting of defined IT operating figures

Professional experience :

First experiences as a line manager, good overall understanding of Regional IT-topics, deep knowledge of IT infrastructure (local requirements as well as enterprise IT) mainly based on Microsoft and Cisco technology. Experienced in negotiating contracts and managing of service providers and purchasing of IT equipment and services esp. in Asia, fluent in English, Chinese, Mandarin, Germany would be beneficial.

Education :

Graduate degree or comparable education in information, engineering or technology with additional knowledge in economics and management

Personality :

Communicative, strong in negotiating and elaborating, analytical, entrepreneurial thinking, pragmatic and hands-on, reliable, able to prioritize, travel is required, team-minded, able to lead an virtual IT-organization
