Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to management and business units of the Group in relation to corporate, transaction, general commercial and construction matters
• To monitor, plan and implement programs for changes in legislation affecting the operations of the Group and provide general operations compliance support to Group
• Support the Group in merger, acquisitions and corporate financing activities, including but not limited to assets transactions, business integration and re-structuring, PRC assets on/off-shore structuring and PRC business licenses maintenance
• To draft and review contracts and undertake any other ad-hoc projects and assignments from senior management

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer in Hong Kong with solid knowledge of the fund & asset management industry
• 8+ years PQE gained with a reputable law firm or legal department of listed companies
• Exposure or experience in real estate and construction matters would be an advantage
• A good team player with managerial & leadership skill
• Proficiency in spoken and written English & Chinese, including Putonghua
