Requirements: -

• Willing to learn and hard working
• Good general education preferably at least diploma in either building studies or health and safety related subjects (preferred)
• 1 year or above relevant experience in construction field (preferred)
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Conversant with the use of common computer software
• Willing to work as a team player with other staff of the company.  
• Experience in Internal Auditing would be a distinct advantage
• Knowledge in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 is preferable
• Aspires to succeed in pursuing the career path of a health and safety professional

Duties: -

• To assist Project Management team and Safety Officer in managing health and safety at work
• To implement and maintain health and safety measures stipulated under the statutory requirements and also the contractual requirements
• To enhance safety awareness on site through safety training and promotional activities
• To conduct risk assessments and safety inspections to identify hazards and help devise safety control measures jointly with the project team
• To investigate accidents and near-miss incidents with serious implications or attracting media attention and come up with safety improvement actions jointly with the project team
• To assist in preparation of project documents as assigned by seniors.
• To execute any other health and safety related duties as directed by superior
• To assist in implementation of ISO 9001, 14001, OHSAS 18001 management system within the company
