RSM Hong Kong’s Technology and Management Consulting (“TMC”) is currently looking for a talented Manager / Assistant Manager to provide a variety of technology solutions for mid-market companies. The right candidate will provide technical expertise, manage implementations and team, and provide customized solutions to mid-market companies across a variety of industries. It is important that the candidate has experience in a customer facing role or has worked for a consulting company where client delivery is the main focus. 

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading, supervising and monitoring the engagement team on various consulting projects in line with the firm's technology practice
• Lead the overall project management activities for engagements including: status updates, monitoring budget to actual performance, and communication with client and firm management
• Manage the technology solution team to ensure timely completion of tasks, milestones, and components reviews
• Be an effective listener to appropriately understand and document the client’s needs
• Research and develop customized solutions to clients on IT optimization and process improvements
• Support pre-sales activities, including proposal preparation, product demonstration and solution presentation
• Take a hands-on approach to problem resolution and troubleshooting
• Lead the implementation of ERP systems
• Work with internal and external party to design changes to the systems
• Train end users how to effectively use the ERP system and other applications

Technical experience needed:

• Experience in IT audit, cybersecurity or service organization control review
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley compliance; COBIT/ITIL frameworks, SOA (SOC1 & 2 / ISAE3402)
• Knowledge in security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, SSO
• Knowledge in IT infrastructure and networking such as Virtualization, WAN, LAN, switching, routing, QOS, SIP
• Knowledge in in vulnerability scanning and penetrating testing a plus
• Experience implementing cloud-based and on-premise ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle Netsuite) a plus 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor Degree in information technology, computer science or other related field 
• 5-10 years of experience in consulting background is highly preferred
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA / CISSP / CISM / CITP is a MUST
• Innate leadership skills with an emphasis on optimizing individual and team productivity/contributions
• Positive attitude and perseverance in the face of challenges and/or changing circumstances
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, system implementation and integration, business intelligence and data analytics
• Excellent written and verbal skills (proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin) and troubleshooting / analytical skills;
• Ability to work additional hours as needed; and
• Willing to travel to various client sites.
