JOB SUMMARY

Sourcing lead in charge of finding suppliers of new machinery, manufacturing techniques and raw materials, management and maintenance of global material libraries. This role will also strongly support HQ and group companies in various sourcing activities, including sourcing service solutions for finished goods. 

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Lead global sourcing initiatives for novel products, materials, technologies and innovations across various industries
2. Investigate and analyze the global market for smart-hard-soft (SHS) products, materials and technologies
3. Develop andelectronics and 3C product protection among 3 main offices (USA, Hong Kong, China), as well as maintain and routinely update these libraries to ensure that they contain the most up-to-date and cutting edge items to share among group companies and customers
4. Manage the Approved Vendor List (AVL) for New Technologies and manage supplier performance as necessary
5. Assist and/or lead, as necessary, sourcing projects for group company R&D initiatives
6. Negotiate contract terms with relevant suppliers and monitor adherence to said terms
7. Other duties as deemed necessary by superiors

OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

1. Attend weekly management meetings
2. Monthly reporting on KPI and related performance issues 

QUALIFICATIONS 

1. Bachelor degree
2. 10+ yrs working experience in sourcing and/or procurement related position(s)
3. High Integrity/Team Spirit/Aggressive on Cost/Strong Passion and Detailed
4. Self-motivated and strong ability to work independently and proactively
5. Good English speaking and easy communication with international teams 

PREFERRED 

Bachelor degree in engineering, industrial and/or fashion design, chemicals, textiles or related fields

Previous working experience related to products, equipment, instruments, etc. for smart, hard and soft goods, including but not limited to electronics and 3C product protection solutions.
