Settlement Officer / Senior Officer
Job Description
- Handle daily transaction settlements and prepare settlement reports including Hong Kong and Overseas markets
- Ensure all settlement instructions are timely and efficiently executed
- Handle daily settlement instructions
- Perform stock holding reconciliation
- Handle accounts and settlement services request from clients such as attending to client’s enquiry in person or on phone or email
- May need to visit CCASS office, bank or client’s office if required
- Liaise with account departments and RO
- Communicate with internal and external parties effectively
- Participate in system development projects
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as the company require
Requirement
- University Degree holder or above
- With at least 2 years settlement experience in brokerage firm
- Good knowledge on securities market
- with experience on settlement process and familiar with CCASS and DCASS operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
