Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead all activities related to Quality issues with our products and maintaining inspections on all systems, processes, and materials to meet with standards and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Create, prepare, and implement QA plans and formulate inspection reports, procedures, checklists
• Maintain our ISO 9001 and quality related certifications
• Carry out quality inspections and audits on Company’s product and procedures
• Ensure the compliance of the products (couplers, pipes, etc.) with local legislation and client specification in terms of safety and quality
• Handle relationship with external labs in collaborative spirit
• Carry out investigation in any quality related issues and make recommendations on corrective and preventive actions
• Write up quality assurance related procedures and exposition
• Monitor and schedule all the Quality Assurance activities
• Conduct company procedures course trainings for related staffs
• Implement systems and ensure accurate programs for internal and external site audits
• Review and assess the progress of works, highlighting issues during site meetings
• Compile and submit inspection reports with ISO documentation.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Education: High Diploma or Degree in Quality or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience: At least 8-10 years working experience in Engineering industry with ideally experience in Rebar/ steel related products, and in Quality Assurance and auditing experiences in Manufacturing/ Construction
• Familiar with safety procedures and quality assessment (ISO etc)
• Critical and analytical thinking, and detail oriented
• Good communication skills, able to liaise with various interlocutors, both internal and external
• Team player, outgoing, independent, with positive working attitude overall
• Excellent command of English, Cantonese would be a must
• Ability to work in an open air environment
• Computer literate in MS Office, internet & experience of drawing/PLC software useful
