Job Description

Major Duties:
(a) To carry out accounting, auditing and general clerical duties;
(b) To assist in preparing monthly financial statements, regular reports and year-end exercise;
(c) To draft simple correspondence; and
(d) To handle enquiries.
 
Requirements:
(a) (i) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) at Grade E/Level 2 or above including English Language (Syllabus B), Chinese Language and Mathematics, or equivalent; OR
(ii) 3 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination at Level 2 or above, including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, plus a combination of Level 2 in two other HKDSE subjects, "Attained" in Applied Learning subjects (up to 2 subjects) and Grade E in Other Language subjects; OR
(iii) A recognised Certificate/Diploma/Foundation Diploma/Foundation Certificate, or Project Yi Jin; 
(b) Proficiency in computer software application such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
(c) Good communication, interpersonal and organization skills;
(d) Ability to work independently with initiative and be a good team player;
(e) Preferably a pass in LCCI accounting subjects or with comparable professional examination results; and
(f) Preferably relevant working experience in accounting/audit related work.
 
Note:
(1) Shortlisted applicants may be required to attend a computer skills test (MS Word, Chinese word processing (Chajei (倉頡) or Quick/Easy (速成)) and MS Excel).
(2) The appointees may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours.
(3) The initial posting is in Southern District, Hong Kong.
