REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicates with the ETC service groups and forwarding agents to ensure a smooth and efficient shipping process
• Verifies availability of product for upcoming shipments
• Provides carrier pick-up scheduling information as necessary to other departments to ensure freight readiness, and to minimize carrier wait fees.
• Serves as primary contact for shipping related information
• Ensures products are available by the ship date or effectively communicates delays and expected availability.
• Communicates with forwarding agents of ETC and ETC’s customers as necessary
• Creates and maintains main stock purchase orders (as appropriate).
• Reviews rescheduling reports.
• Reviews, reacts, and communicates inventory discrepancies 
• Ensures lead time and safety stocks are accurate and driving the appropriate demand. 
• Ensuring all movements are completed correctly in ERP
• Keep Sell off stock data up to date and correct.
• Assist with Cycle Count program for all storage locations 
• Assist/provide cover for raising of Shipping document for Loan
• Assist with SAP Material Master maintenance
• Assist with materials planning for Asia
• Handles Rework
• Compliance with Customs regulations and remains current with changing international shipping regulations 
• Ensure proper filing for Import/Export Declaration
• Coordinates the actual shipping process including picking, packing and staging of shipment using compliant packaging materials. 
• Works with intercompany coordinators in the configuring and optimizing containers
• Coordinates the unloading of inbound container freight
• Coordinates carrier selection for shipments to provide adequate service while minimizing overall cost
• Prepares freight quotes for the service groups in a timely and efficient manner, utilizing the most effective carriers.
• Prepares freight quote packages for overall total volume based on type of service and regions 
• Reconciles freight invoices upon receipt
• Manages freight claims for damage or service failures 
• Assists in ensuring Letters of Credit contain required information, and providing copies to the forwarders, when necessary 
• Provide customer service via telephone and e-mail

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• 3 or more years’ experience working in a logistics environment
• Knowledge of international shipping requirements, documentation, regulations, and processes
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Able to operate hand tool, small power tools and pallet jack
• Hardworking, problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Good interpersonal skill
• Excellent organizational skills with a desire and ability to multitask
• Experience with ERP computer systems and automated shipping systems
• Proactive, assertive and self-motivated
• Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
• Proficient in Chinese word processing
• Drivers’ license with acceptable driving record is a plus
• Good command in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Ability to work independently
