Our Client, a leading Global bank in Hong Kong, is looking for a 'Customer Service officer' for their Corporate and Institutional Banking team, as they are expanding operations.

You will have to offer pro-active solutions to meet the varying requirements of the customers such as, but not limited to, account servicing, new account opening, query handling, internet banking related, customer advices etc.  

Job Purpose

• Resolve corporate client queries and servicing requests as and when they arise within stipulated TAT and without defects;
• Assist customers for completion of account opening forms, trade finance requirements  and other banking requirements
• Handle customers account services related queries and ensure resolution  by coordinating with other internal departments
• Contacting new customers for business sourcing and arranging meetings for relationship managers as per the requirement  
• Understanding and adhering to compliance framework set out for day to day activities;
• Taking initiatives in process improvement projects that directly or indirectly impact process and cost efficiencies;

Area of Responsibility

• Ensure timely communication to clients with regards to transactions and queries;
• Ensure timely handling of customer requests like remittance, relationship opening / deposit opening, trade finance requirements etc. without rejections
• Maintaining and updation of Business and process MIS

Key Skills

• Knowledge in  Trade finance like Letter of Credit Advising, Negotiation etc will be preferred
• Prior experience in handling corporate account opening will be preferred
• Customer resolution techniques
• Presentation skills ( PPT, MS office and Excel)
• Multi linguistic candidates will be preferred-Proficiency in English, Cantonese &  Mandarin
