My client is a Top-Tier Global Insurer, looking for an experienced pricing actuary to join their team.

Job Responsibility:

• Handle reinsurance quotation requests and produce pricing results accurately
• Undertake experience analyses of existing and new business opportunities
• Support product development, review pricing bases and maintain pricing models for various lines of business
• Maintain documentation of all pricing work, and ensure compliance with pricing guidelines and standards
• Manage client relationship and develop client insights and solutions
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members

The Successful Candidate

• A qualified actuary or close to qualified (FSA, FIA, FIAA, or equivalent)
• Strong experience in direct and reinsurance pricing, with around 4-8 years of experience
• Strong analytical skills and work well in a team
• Good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Good technical skills in actuarial software and visual basics is a plus
• Have a good connection in Taiwan or familiar with Taiwanese market will be an advantage
• Able to communicate in English, Cantonese/ Mandarin
• Job involves occasional travelling
