Marketing Manager / Global Marketing Strategy Manager – Base in Shenzhen, PRC

 

Position Summary:

The Marketing Strategy Manager develops and drives execution of marketing and communications plans for a selection of markets within the Hospitality Customer Solutions Unit (CSU) which include Restaurant / Retail, House of Worship, Nightlife, Hotels / Casinos, Cruise Lines, Broadcast and Cinema.  This entails proactive coordination with Marketing Solutions Managers within the Hospitality Marketing and Solutions team, developing an annual marketing and communications plan, establishing detailed marketing project requirements, creating and executing New Product Introduction Global launch plans, supporting Regional and Country Sales Offices, and driving execution through the MarComm Business Unit. In addition, this includes all communication and coordination required between Marketing Strategy Managers across other appropriate CSUs, reporting directly to the Director, Marketing & Solutions.  This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with the ability to maintain several very detailed yet fluid projects simultaneously.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Hospitality Solutions Managers and Business Development Managers to determine short-term and long-term marketing and communications global requirements.
  • Coordinate with sales and business development teams to better understand end customer and channel needs (e.g., what influences a purchasing decision) within each customer segment.
  • Represent Hospitality to the Marcomm team / Program Manager to ensure deliverable requests are understood and executed on time and accurately.
  • Coordinate with Marcomm in developing and driving marketing programs that result in measureable impact on leads, revenue and market share gains.
  • Articulate value proposition, product offering, market segmentation and positioning strategy of Hospitality products.
  • Serve as the key interface to represent Local Sales Office marketing needs with Hospitality.
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to better position products and brands.
  • Assess performance within each segment and provide regional marketing perspective on market dynamics, competitive opportunities, customer requirements and sales force pipeline needs.
  • Confident to communicate with teams around the world, and across multiple time zones, whether in the US, EMEA, LATAM, Asia or the BRIC country offices.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing, business or related industry field.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience working in a marketing strategy related role, knowledge in the audio, video, lighting or control or related industries is highly preferred, but not essential 
  • Experienced work in large global Multi-National Corporations or previous experience in Consultancies to worked in large scale of Hospitality/F&B/Retail/Casino/Cruise lines project portfolio
  • Successful candidate will have global knowledge and experience with related industries or customer markets.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented, with proven experience managing change orientation.
  • Excellent internal and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English
  • Base in Shenzhen and able to deal with global traveling
